Every Nice Thing by Taylor White

On Friday night I went to the opening of Every Nice Thing by Taylor White at Off the Kerb in Collingwood. I found Taylor's stunning illustrations to loiter on the edge of the darkside and they were both moving and slightly nostalgic. Highly recommended! Also showing are impressive solo shows by Klara and Andrew Goodman.

I have just finished my teapot for This Little Teapot. It was a little more challenging than I expected, but happy with the end result! If you're in Sydney in mid April get along and check it out!

Pirate Existence

Off the Kerb is having a birthday! 4 years old, and to celebrate are having a group show entitled Pirate Existence. Each artist has created work from found objects, picked up around the streets of Melbourne.
 




And here is a sneak peak at my diptych 'Saharan Fennecs'.

 Opening night is next Friday April 1, 6-9pm, come along for piratey goodness arrrr!

My piece for the This Little Teapot show coming up in March is well underway. I will also be turning a teapot into a piece of art for the show. It all begins on March 23 at Paper Plane gallery in Rozelle, Sydney. A good excuse for a trip north me thinks!

Demitri's Feast
